Contacting IWK for Services

If you encounter a blockage or backflow in your toilet or premise, it’s essential to take the appropriate steps to address the issue. Here’s what you should do:

  • Report the Blockage: If you experience a blockage, report it promptly to IWK at https://www.iwk.com.my/contact-us, selecting the ‘Services’ category, and providing a brief description of the issue. IWK's service field team will then get in touch with you to address the reported matter.

  • Avoid Flushing Solid Waste: It’s important to avoid disposing of solid waste items such as sanitary napkins, diapers, refuse, or other non-flushable materials into the toilet or septic tank/inspection chamber. Flushing such items can lead to blockages in both your internal and public sewer pipelines.

After a thorough analysis of the situation, rest assured that our field service officer will provide explanations and recommend solutions to resolve the arising issues

To request desludging services from IWK, you can reach out to us through our customer service centres closest to your premise at https://www.iwk.com.my/contact-us. Our team will guide you through the necessary steps to schedule and arrange for the desludging of your septic tank.
